Monday, March 3, 10 AM to 1 PM, Leslie will be taking part in a "Read Across America" program at the Upper Cape Regional Technical School, 220 Sandwich Rd., Bourne, MA 02532, 508-759-7711.

Although many people think of writers as shy and retiring individuals, some of us are not. I have given more than a hundred talks at bookstores, libraries, women's clubs, and civic groups. If your organization is looking for a speaker, I hope that you will contact me.

I've gotten many speaking engagements through the Sisters in Crime/New England Speakers Bureau (for more information about this important resource, contact (SpeakersBureau@sincne.org).
